PVC Drip Molding Color Mixing Elevating Mixer – High Speed Disperser for Plastisol & Color Paste

The PVC Drip Molding Color Mixing Elevating Mixer is a variable-speed lifting high speed disperser engineered for one job: turning PVC paste resin, plasticizer, stabilizer and color paste into a smooth, lump-free, ready-to-mould PVC plastisol. If you run a drip molding line, dip molding line or any soft PVC production, paste preparation is the step that decides whether your finished parts come out with clean color and even wall thickness — or with gel specks, streaks and rejects.

Unlike a paddle stirrer that only moves lumps around the bucket, this machine applies high shear dispersion. The serrated dispersing disc spins fast enough to break resin agglomerates apart and wet every individual particle surface, so pigments disperse evenly and the paste stays stable. That is the difference between “mixed” and “properly dispersed”.

BUILT AROUND THE WAY PVC PLASTISOL IS ACTUALLY MIXED

The mixing head sits on an elevating column. Place your bucket on the floor, lower the dispersing head into it, mix at your set speed, then raise the head and push the bucket straight to the vacuum chamber or the drip molding machine. No fixed tank, no mounting clamps, no tools for container changeover.

One machine covers containers from a small sample bucket for color trials up to a full production pail for bulk base paste. Adjust the shaft height and the speed, and the same unit handles a few kilograms of pigment paste or tens of kilograms of white base — which means you do not need to buy two separate mixers for trial work and production.

KEY FEATURES

– Stepless variable speed, 0–1440 rpm — variable frequency drive lets you set low speed for dust-free powder charging and anti-splash premixing, mid range for dissolving and blending, and high speed for full shear dispersion. One machine covers every stage of the recipe.
– High shear serrated dispersing disc — the toothed disc creates mechanical impact, hydraulic shear and a strong vortex working together, breaking down agglomerates and dispersing them to a finer particle size.
– Wide viscosity and capacity range — from thin liquid color pastes to heavy, high-viscosity plastisol, in batches from a few kilograms up to tens of kilograms.
– Low air entrainment — the mixing action draws very little air into the paste, cutting vacuum de-aeration time and reducing bubbles in the finished product.
– No dead zones, easy to clean — full-vessel circulation keeps the whole batch moving through the shear zone. The head lifts clear for fast wipe-down between colors, which is what makes short multi-color runs practical.
– Mirror-polished components — the wetted parts and cover are mirror polished so paste does not cling. Cleaning is quick, appearance is clean, and color-to-color cross-contamination is minimized.
– Stable, quiet, continuous duty — smooth running with low noise, suitable for long continuous operation next to the production line.
– Simple and safe to operate — straightforward controls and a splash-reducing head design that operators pick up quickly.

APPLICATIONS

Primary use — PVC drip molding and dip molding: base white paste preparation, color paste mixing and tinting for PVC labels, keychains, zipper pulls, shoe charms, patches, glove coatings and other soft PVC parts.

Also suitable for dispersing and mixing paints, coatings, pigments, emulsions, resins, printing inks, adhesives, dyes, cosmetics and petroleum-based products of varying viscosity.

HOW IT WORKS

The serrated disc rotates at high peripheral speed and generates a strong vortex that draws material down through the center of the disc and throws it radially across the blade teeth. Three effects act on the agglomerates at the same time:

– Mechanical impact — rotating blade teeth strike particle clusters directly and break them open.
– Hydraulic shear — velocity differences in the liquid continue to reduce particle size and wet out the powder.
– Turbulent circulation — disc geometry drives full-vessel flow so no part of the batch is left stagnant.

FAQ

1. Can this machine handle both small color batches and bulk base paste?
Yes. This is the main advantage of the elevating design. By adjusting the shaft height and speed, one unit can disperse a few kilograms of color paste for a trial run and tens of kilograms of base white paste for production. You change the container, not the machine, so there is no need to buy two separate mixers.

2. Do I need to buy a matching tank, and what container sizes fit?
No matching tank is required. The open-base structure accepts standard stainless steel pots and plastic buckets placed directly on the floor. Small sample containers for color trials and larger production pails are both supported.

3. Will the paste come out with air bubbles?
The mixing action is designed to entrain very little air, which noticeably shortens the vacuum de-aeration time needed afterwards. For less demanding colors, the vacuum step can often be reduced or skipped entirely.

4. How is this machine different from an ordinary paddle mixer?
A paddle recirculates material; a high speed disperser applies shear. The serrated disc spins fast enough to break resin agglomerates apart and wet out individual particles. That is what removes gel specks and gives consistent color, which is why plastisol processors use a disperser rather than a simple stirrer.

5. What information do you need to quote the right model?
Please send us your container size and type, typical batch weight, material viscosity range, required dispersion fineness, local voltage, and expected daily output. With that we can confirm the correct model, configuration and lead time.
